Exercise can significantly reduce our body’s risk of acquiring chronic age-related diseases. And it can be a good mood booster!

 

However, we should still remember that all bodies are different. Therefore, everyone has different capabilities. We should always determine what exercises we can and can’t do. In this way, we can have a safe and secure fitness journey. Here are ten workouts to help kickstart your path to a healthy lifestyle.

1.) High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

It’s a combination of vigorous workouts and short resting periods. HIIT is a great way to boost metabolism, burn calories, and improve bodily endurance. It is also helpful in reducing blood pressure and eliminating fat. Some HIIT exercises you can try are mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and burpees.

2.) Strength Training

It’s using weights as a source of resistance training for the body, especially the muscles. It helps improve balance and build more muscle mass. Strength training also improves bone density and your body’s strength. Some strength training exercises are bicep curls, lunges, and squats.

3.) Cardiovascular Exercises
